June 20-23, 2023 in Charlotte, North Carolina
holistic retreat experience
Every year around the summer solstice (June 21), we gather together for a Companions-style contemplative retreat. During these four days, we kindle the warmth and depth of connection among people who seek Vitality, honor Mystery, practice Presence, and nurture Moxie in ourselves and in one another. All are welcome.
With time for intentional conversation, reflection, solitude, community, fun and flexibility, we offer a unique and delightful retreat experience for everyone. Participation in all activities is optional; meals-only pricing for household members is available.
Some highlights can include:
Fire ritual on the Solstice, Taize style service, contemplative time in nature, art meditation, Qigong practice, intentional table talk, discussion of something cultural (in 2021 we discussed Fredrick Backman’s book Anxious People; in 2022 we discussed the Disney movie Encanto), and group reflection practices (last year we did family constellation work together)
Cost
$600 per person (includes all Fest activities, supplies, and meals). 20% discount for current Wayfaring Companions students.
Limited lodging is available at the retreat location for $85/night on a first-come, first-served basis.
